Academic Literature Review
BetaA cited summary of papers on a topic: key findings, recurring themes, stated limitations, and whether each source says it is peer reviewed.
How it works
Finds and reads publicly available paper pages (abstracts, open-access versions) and summarizes their findings with exact quotes. It reports what each paper states and flags preprints as not peer reviewed.
What you give it
- Research topic
- Inclusion criteria (optional)
- Pasted abstracts or uploaded papers (optional)
Limitations
- Reads public pages only; paywalled full texts are not accessed, so findings often come from abstracts.
- Not a systematic review: search results are not exhaustive and study quality is not graded.
- Peer-review status is reported only when the page states it.
